Route/Trail notes:

The walk is signposted near the entrance within the day use area car park and easy to follow, although a little overgrown in sections. This takes you around to the levee, which you cross and then re-enter the bushland along the edge of the dam, past the Rotary Memorial and out to the second levee.

You can return by the same route, or take the first or second track on you left to cut back through to your original track.

Permits/Costs:

None.

Cool dam, easy walk.

Having just done Point Glorious, this walk was an easy option on the way out. Not a sole about, except for a few wild pigs heard squealing and snuffling in the undergrowth! Interesting that there is no restriction to stop you walking under the dam wall and slipway from the bottom of the car park.
