There is nothing more interesting than taking a remarkable walk to Pulpit Rock. The area offers magnificent scenery beyond the cliff line surrounding the Grose Valley. Most of the views are coming from the Griffiths Taylor Wall, the Evans Lookout and the Govetts Leap. You will get to see amazing section of coastline and heath land which makes Pulpit Rock an interesting place to explore
Getting there
Start at Govetts Leap carpark. This can be accessed via:
- a 2 hour walk from Blackheath Train Station
- taxi (Blue Mountain taxis)
- a bus from the centre of town: route 698, on Wentworth St intersect Govetts Leap (Stop 278533)

Route/Trail notes
- From the Govetts leap Lookout, go left downhill along the foot track going to the cliffline.
- The path is well defined and there is clear signage along the way
- After viewing Pulpit Rock you can either return the way you came or, go to the carpark to be picked up or call a taxi (yes they come here)
