Cabbage Palm loop walking track in Wallingat National Park is a relatively short bushwalk over gentle hills with plenty of wildlife spotting and birdwatching opportunities.
The walk is located in Wallingat National Park. Follow Sugar Creek Road through the park and take the turn-off at Hotel Creek Road to the Sugar Creek picnic area.
Relatively flat track through amazing palm sections but the track can be rough in parts and palm fronds everwhere can make it a bit slippery and a trip hazard. There's also some drier gum sections and loads of birds. The picic area is very basic and the BBQs are out of commission.
