Great views from the top of Little Dromedary, a small rocky peak overlooking the the historic town of Tilba Tilba. There's no marked track, so some navigation and a bit of "bush bashing" is required.
Starts in Sherringham Lane, Central Tilba (NSW south coast)
Central Tilba 1:25,000 (89253N)
An easy and pleasant start through open farmland, before you enter the forest and follow the ridge in the direction of the rock summit. Near the summit there's a sloping slab of granite - a scramble up this takes you onto a small rock platform with views towards Tilba Tilba and Mt Dromedary in the west and the Wallaga Lake and the ocean to the south. Navigation required.
Little Dromedary is on private - ask for Norm Hoyer in Tilba Tilba to get permission.
