Route/Trail notes

Very narrow at times but an easy walk through the bush. A little offshoot track goes down to the old bullock crossing where they use to drive cattle through the area. In drier weather it can be crossed but when wetter the river is too high. Mountain bikers also use the track and the adjacent Dawson river track. There's a big picnic area with undercover seating and gas BBQs as well as a pontoon and areas for swimming.

Comments

Quick and easy. The road in can be rough if recent rain or gouged by reckless 4wd owners.
