Getting there

Take the road to Wingham from Taree, and then head towards Elands on Elands Rd. Turn off towards Tapin Tops National Park and watch out for the sign to Potoroo Picnic Area/Falls.  Follow the signs.  There is one turn that could be easy to miss.  You take a sharp right turn instead of going straight ahead.

Route/Trail notes

Park your car in the car park and walk across the bridge to where the walk begins.  You will need to cross the Creek a couple of times, and you will probably need to get your feet wet.  The Falls are really nice though, and if you have a swim, you won't come back sweating because there is no steep hill to climb back up.

Permits/Costs

No cost

This was a great waterfall to visit. The path to it is a bit rough and we did have to take our shoes off, but it was well worth it. Take care on the road down. It's not very wide, and we were warned by a local that sometimes cars come around the corners a a bit quick.

Short walk to nice little falls. Had planned to swim but water was very cold so ended up just wading and having lunch. Don't short cut the road in, make sure you go along rusty road.
