An ideal multi-day walk for families and beginners along a remote coastline of beaches and headlands with good lookouts for whale, dolphin and bird watching. Keep your pack light by staying and eating in the villages.
Logistics can be a challenge as its a long car shuffle. However you have other options to a car suffle: you can get public transport combined with a taxi for the final few miles (Yamba to Angourie), there are commercial operators who will transport you for a fee, or consider extending the walk on additional day along the Solitary Islands Coastal Walk to finish at the larger town of Woolgoolga rather than at Red Rock for easier transport arrangements. Believe me, you will be so chilled when you arrive at Red Rock that you won't want to stop!
National Parks have a map of the walk online.
National Parks and various websites and blogs cover this walk
No permit, no booking, no fee - how good is that!
