A detailed description of the walk!

When starting at enterance 1 head down hill and visit Veliki Slap (Great Waterfall) before continueing up the gorge floor past multiple lakes. Eventually you will reach a collection of buildings and the ferry dock from here you will be able to take your ferry ride to the upper lakes. The upper lakes section consists of a large loop with three paths crossing it and to see everything you will need to walk the large loop as well as doing 3 out and backs along the board walk sections in the middle of the lakes these are worth doing. When you have completed the upper lakes loop take the ferry to the enternace 2 ferry terminal and then walk up the hill from here a shuttle can take you back to near enterance 1 and then you have the last short walk along the cliff tops to the start.

Do you need any permits? What's the cost?

Due to the popularity of the park paid permits are required to walk though for the admission price you do get ferry and shuttle bus transfers to assist with your walk as well as excellent board walks.
