Login/signup to tick this walk off.You will climb the second highest peak in Egypt, Mount Moses or Mount Sinai, at an altitude of 2258 meters above sea level, the place where the Prophet Moses received the Ten Commandments and the place from which the Prophet was raised to me. We will visit all the ancient churches on the mountain and we will camp for a whole night under the stars and enjoy watching the sun rise in the morning.

A unique trip organized and of high quality, one night camping in Jabal Musa
Climbing the second highest peak in Egypt, Mount Moses or Mount Sinai, the oldest place for pilgrims in ancient times, the place where the Prophet Moses received the Ten Commandments, and the place where the Prophet Elijah stayed .
The walk starts at the St Catherine Monastry or Fox camp. There is a lot of parking available, although chances are you will be driven there via taxi or bus.
How do you get to the start of the walk?
The walk starts at the Monastry (which is open 9:00-11:30 every day except Sunday and Friday). Then to the Mount Musa road and have lunch during the way, then reach the summit of Mount Musa or Mount Sinai to enjoy the sunset, then camp and have dinner depending on the weather, either at the top of the mountain or in the first 750 salamahs, and then wake up early to watch the sunrise. The sun, enjoy breakfast, and then go back to the city
