The Kawazu Seven Waterfalls make up part of the Fuji-Izu-Hakone national park on the Izu Peninsula. It is a spectatular set of seven waterfalls that progressively get more impressive as you go along.
Begin the hike by first either taking the bus to the Kawazu Falls bus stop or via driving. Either scenario, I recommend doing this hike beginning from Ebi-no-taki, this is the smallest and least impressive waterfall. Follow the signs for the seven waterfalls, do not go to Deai no taki or Oidaru yet.
Begin the hike from Ebi-no-taki, it is completely non-descript and hardly even a waterfall. Don't even bother taking a photo, keep going along the path. As you continue along the path following the signs for the next waterfall, they will progressively become larger and more interesting. Once you reach Saruta depths, turn back and go back to the entrance of the hike. From here walk down the road a bit and follow signs for Deai-no-taki. After checking out this waterfall, walk a bit more down the road where you will find the big boi impressive waterfall, Oidaru.
