Route/Trail notes

From the carpark, follow the obvious staricase up the mountain. This should take no more than five minutes. Sometimes monkeys rock up. There is also an audio explanation panel at the top of the mountain in both Japanese and English that discusses the Battle of Sekigahara and the strategic importnace of Mt. Sasao.
