From the ranger station or ronny creek. Alternatively you can start part way along at Snake Hill - Cradle shuttle station.

Route/Trail notes

From the rangers centre where you set off you will quickly leave the turn off for the rainforest circuit behind and after about a kilometre you shall also bypass the turn off to the dove canyon track. From here the board walk will guide you all the way to ronny creek with little room for deviation as you are bound by the dove river on your right and the road on your left. There are opportunities to pay the dove river a visit on two short side trips on your left as well as the occasional access to the road such as at the Snake Hill - cradle shuttle station. You will know your getting close to the end when you cross the Dove River on a bridge and pass some private houses.

Permits/Costs

Free so long as you have a parks passes. Otherwise you will need one. Also you may opt for a shuttle ticket of some kind unless you are walking in or have brought your car in outside bus time. Trail is one way so you may have to walk trail both ways if you dont have a shuttle or car shuffle.
