Hardest hike I've ever done. Left yellow pinch car park at 5.45pm and got back to car. 11 hours later. We covered 17klms of some pretty tough terrain. Fantastic views of the scenic rim all the way up and down especially of Mt Lindsay and Mt Ernest. Some very steep and challenging sections going up and many sections when your literally on the edge of huge drops. Coming down is also challenging and spent a fair bit of it on my bum. Awesome views at the top when we finally got there. A bit deceiving in places as you think your almost there when your not. Glad I've finally done it and had the best day doing it. The weather was for us perfect all day. Definitely wouldn't want to going up or down in rain or strong winds. Pays to have Sat navigation.

Early start 5.45 am at the car park. Good to go early as car park was full when we returned at 10.30 am. Hard slog from start to finish but worth doing with some lovely views along the way. 4.5 hours which was a good time with a few stops along the way. The beers chips and gravy at the Dundugan pub at Boonah went down well on the way home.

Lovely hike so many waterfalls and swimming holes. Bit of a longish hike for us older hikers. We did it anticlockwise and it was relatively easy getting down to the meeting of the waters and spending some time there for lunch and a bit of a dip in the water. Good spot for soaking tired feet. Bit of a slog from there back to canyon lookout car park. We took around 7 hours with quite a few breaks. We started before 6am and we were the only ones there (Just as we like it) luckily it was a shady track.

Second time up. We did it in just under 6 hours. Very steep up and down most of the way. 4wd track back to the campsite is a bit of a killer very slippery with all the loose rocks. Most of the tracks are narrow with lots of loose rocks. Awesome day but tiring.

First night hike to see new year in. Bit slower in the dark lots of slippery rocks and roots. Got to top with 20 minutes to spare. Only saw faint flashes of the fireworks in Brisbane city 110klms away through the clouds. The clouds lifted about 15minutes to late. Back down and tucked up in bed by 4.30am.
