From the summit of Reed’s Lookout you will enjoy stunning views over the entire Victoria Valley, Victoria Range, Serra Range, Lake Wartook and the Mt Difficult Range. The viewing platform is a popular spot to watch the sun set over the mountains.
Take Mt Victoria Road (C222) just north of Halls Gap for about 14km before turning left (signposted) into Reed’s and the Balconies car park.
From the top of the carpark head up the pathway past the phone tower to helipad then down to the lookout and fire tower to your left.
None.
From the same car park you can also do The Balconies walk.
The Grampians are a haven for bushwalkers from short strolls to multiday adventures. From Very Easy to Hard. You could spend a couple of weeks here and still not complete them all.
There are a number of Bush Camps in the area, but most people would stay at one of the numerous accommodations in Halls Gap.
