Magnificent trees, cascades and a meeting of rivers - the Beeches Rainforest Walk is a beautiful walk on Lady Talbot Drive. It includes the Taggerty Cascades and groves of Myrtle Beech trees (Nothofagus cunninghamii) including many trees over 300 years old.
The walk can be started from either The Beeches carpark or the Taggerty Cascades carpark. Take Lady Talbot Drive from Marysville. The turnoff for Lady Talbot Drive is on the left on Woods Point Rd when heading East out of town. The carparks are 12.5km and 13km along the road. Toilets are available at The Beeches carpark.
The walk has steep sections and can be muddy and slippery but is easy to follow.
Consider combining with the other walks on Lady Tabot Drive: Phantom Falls and Keppel Falls.
