This walk is also part of the The Sydney Coastal Walk.

Which maps cover the area?
Walk towards Barrenjoey Head and onto Station Beach. At the northern end of the beach, follow the signs to the summit. You will then head through a small bit of bush then reach a junction going north or to Smugglers Track, continue straight (north) along the cement/rock path. The track will ascend to the lighthouse. After having a look around head down the stairs next to the light keeper's quarters. You are now on the Smugglers Track and you'll return to the beach you were at earlier. Walk out back towards the starting point. Now follow Beach and Ocean Rds to the southern end of Pam Beach. Climb the wooden stairs near the rock baths to Whale Beach Rd. Continue to Bangalley Head steps and a loop track. Walk along the track to Marine Pd and Avalon Beach.
