Getting there:

From Tenterfield take the Mount Lindesay Road north and then turn right into Boonoo Boonoo Falls Road signposted to the falls and follow for 7km into Cypress Pine Camp Ground. The walk is signposted from the camp ground on the right, where you can park.

From Stanthorpe drive towards Amosfield, then south along the Woodenbong Road/Mount Lindesay Road towards Tenterfield. The road is partially unsealed, with the turnoff onto Boonoo Boonoo Falls Road 7km past the Bald Rock junction.

Follow the track from the camp ground down to the river and along to the pool and back.

Permits/Costs:

National Park entry fee applies (2022 = $8 per vehicle/day). Park entry fees and camping permits can only be purchased online from National Parks NSW. Camping at the Cypress Pine Camp Ground.

Large swimming hole with a mini wooden jetty type construction with a ladder into the water.

the path is unmaintained, but once you find it, its a beautiful area, relaxing listening to the water

On our way to Boonoo Boonoo Falls and pulled into the campsite for a look around and came across this leisurely wander down to the river.
