Byoubuzan is situated in Mizunami. On the walk you can see great waterfalls and stunning views of rural Japan.
Begin the hike by driving to 屏風山 百曲がり登山口 (copy and paste this into Google Maps). This will take you to the carpark.
Yamap and Yamareco
Note that knowledge of Japanese is required to do this hike, there are no signs in English. You need to be able to read the kanji for Byoubuzan (屏風山). Once in the carpark, begin your hike at the waterfall then follow signs for Byoubuzan. Once at the summit, continue along the ridgeline and descend near the signs that say 馬背. This will take you on a loop back to the waterfall and carpark.
