Paluma Range National Park

Crystal Rockslides is a great spot for cooling off, having fun and enjoying the Paluma Range National Park experience. A short 500m walk on sealed surfaces, with an uphill section before taking the shady path to reach the Rockslides.

Getting there

Crystal Rockslides are located within the Paluma Range National Park, about 70km north of Townsville.  The walking path to Crystal Rockslides is 2km past Big Crystal Creek Campgrounds, taking a narrow and sealed road to reach the ample carpark areas.   

Route/Trail notes

It's a short 500m walk on sealed surface to reach the Rockslides, which are accessed via rock steps that are reasonably steep.

Permits/Costs

Located within Paluma Range National Park, free access, no dogs allowed and no glass.
