A short rainforest walk around Cedar Grove Camping Area with two intrepid crossings of Amamoor Creek.
From Amamoor, travel along Amamoor Creek Road towards Amamoor State Forest. Eventually there'll be a right turn to Cedar Grove Camping Area, where the walk starts. The last 3/4km is gravel road that can be used by conventional Vehicle but can be very slippery in the wet.
This is a circuit starting and ending in the camping area. There is also a midpoint entry if you want to only do half the walk. Going clockwise, you start immediately by crossing the creek, then entering the rainforest. Continuing on following the side of the creek before recrossing the creek and following the track along the other side of the creek back to the camp area. There is a small trail off to the left going down to another swimming spot.
None.
Camping permit required if staying over at Cedar Grove or Amamoor Creek (fees apply).
There are numerous walks in the area including Cedar Grove Hiking Trail, Amamoor Creek Hiking Trail, Amama Walk (Cascades) and Amamoor State Forest Lookout (Fire Tower).
