There are a number of trails in the Mookin-bah Reserve. All relatively short but can be combined to walk a little over 5km. This walk started at the Greencamp Road entrance and took the Lorikeets then h9neyeater tracks before merging onto the Fairy wren track and walking to Chelsea Road.

The track is signposted and straightforward with the only tricky part at the start of the walk. The walk starts in just a mown grassy track which quickly reaches an a junction that has no signs. Go left and you will quickly be on the bitumen path.

The return journey is approximately 4.3 km

Route/Trail notes

Commence the walk on the mown grass trail at the Greencamp Road entrance.  The trailhead says Lorikeets Trail.  After  fee hundred metres you will reach an unsigned junction.  Go left and after another few hundred metres you will reached a signed junction.  Take honey eater trail towards Chelsea Road.  The track is well signed and you eventually take Fairywren trail to the trailhead at Chelsea Road.  To return just re Trace your steps.

Pleasant walk with options to extend towards neighboring bushlands. Some form of map/ GPS helpful as signage is not always conclusive.

Best entrance from Chelsea Rd side. Good walk, easy to stay oriented. Like others have said other small grass and gravel tracks that run on the southern side for the most part.

Lovely peacful easy walk along paved trail through paperbark forest. We started the Chelsea Rd end, its a quiet road and easy to park.

There are a number of tracks and entry points to this bushland reserve. I suggest the best access is from Chelsea Road where the track starts as a bitumen path. This path is 5kms return and travels up towards Manly Road. Other tracks can also be access from this main path, but some are gravel or grass.
