Went with the kids who enjoyed looking at the shells and coral on the sand bar and running through the trees once on the island. Pleasant stroll but a busy spot. The park at Wellington Point is lovely and worthy of a picnic, fish and chips or ice cream stop! We walked to the far end of the island and it was approximately 3kms return. |

Fantastic views from the summit. Track has many large/high steps and is covered in loose scree/cobbles. 3.5 hour return trip for our group today with many stops to catch our breath and/or admire the views. Very enjoyable. |

There are a number of tracks and entry points to this bushland reserve. I suggest the best access is from Chelsea Road where the track starts as a bitumen path. This path is 5kms return and travels up towards Manly Road. Other tracks can also be access from this main path, but some are gravel or grass. | ||||

Hard going for our kids (aged 6 and 8). 2 hours walk time. Bottom of walk near waterfall slippery and muddy due to spray from falls. Provided map of trail on site is very poor. Trail is well marked though. Walk to the base of the falls not worth the effort. Visit the Rock pools and Falls lookout only if time restricted or with children. |
