Jacksonia Trail, Bellbird Trail, and Kokoda Trail Circuit

Mt. Coot-tha

This walk is a great workout training. A lot of people along this track are training for possibly Kokoda and carry large packs. It is very steep, you some times see mountain bikers ride up and down.

Not quite sure why this walk is marked as medium. The Kokoda part is really hard. We started at the bottom and walked up The Kokoda section. It sure does get the heart pumping. One lady we met was training for the real Kokoda track. She was just going up and down the last 200 meters. So steep. The Jacksonia track is much easier and pleasant.

Started at Gap Creek Road and walked to Bielby Road, then turned around and went up Kokoda Trail and down Jacksonia. It was tricky in places, but we were determined to get to the top and we did. Awesome walk.

I felt like Katniss Everdeen running down the Jacksonia trail. So quick.

I walked this loop down Kokoda and up Jacksonia... A challenge to stay on my feet down the very steep and loose Kokoda. Fun though!!
