10kms easy walking along the old Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. Passing old stations (or where they used to be, signs have been erected) of Muirlea, Pine Mountain and Borallon. Great for birdwatching. I would recommend for a winter walk - dappled shade, but would get very hot very quickly in summer.
Getting there
How do you get to the start of the walk? Drive to Diamantina Boulevard, or catch train to Wulkuraka station and walk the 3.8kms to start of this section of the walk.

Route/Trail notes
A detailed description of the walk! Easy walk, some very small undulations. Track surface changes, from sand, rocks, gravel, clay the whole way along. Nice scenery out towards the mountains, some open pasture, but mostly the track is lined with bushland (this doesn't mean shade necessarily). Some remnants of the rail way remain, in the form of nuts, bolts, pins, pieces of track.
