Ipswich - Purga Nature Reserve

The Purga Nature Reserve allows visitors to view the largest
protected area of endangered Swamp Tea Tree forest in
Ipswich. These self-guided walks provide visitors a unique
opportunity to explore vegetation and watch wildlife while
only 15 minutes from Ipswich Central.

Really dry. Will be beautiful after some decent rain. Still worth a visit

The entrance to the Purga Nature Reseve is at 830 Middle Road, Purga QLD 4306.

Really quiet little stroll on an elevated wooden boardwalk. Nobody else was there and I get the impression it's not visited very often. Saw a wallaby hopping away near the path. Kids loved it.
