Have done this walk several times now. An easy walk with a couple of hills but nothing to bad. Doesn't take 4 hours but I guess it would if you did it at a very leisurely pace. Have come across brown snakes, lizards and kangaroos and yes, some spider webs at head height so keep an eye out for that. The track is mostly shaded with some parts exposed, hat not needed if you happen to forget it. A stop in at the West Mount Cotton Nursery afterwards for a drink and a meal is a must, the view from the cafe is beautiful as well.

Found this an easy walk with only one steep section. Well signed. Make time to include the Tingalpa Creek circuit.

Nice easy walk. Stepping stone water crossings is a nice addition(x2).
Clean amenities, very well signed track with plenty of variations available. Did this walk in 2 hrs which included stopping for lunch. Completed the track in an anticlockwise direction.

I completed this walk on Easter Sunday. The track had been recently flooded however there was little sign of this on Sunday with only a couple of small sections still flooded which were easily skirted around. A very easy walk completed in well under the recommended time as per the national park sign.

The Venman circuit isn't quite as pretty when there hasn't been rain for a long time, but it is worth extending your walk by turning into the adjourning Neville Lawrie Reserve (you'll find a gate leading to the reserve at approx. the halfway mark through the Venman circuit). Once you've come to the end of the path that comes after the gate, turn left and head up until you see the top of the old quarry. You'll find a beautiful spot to sit amongst the trees, and you can watch the ducks swimming amongst the pond lilies below. Turn back and head back towards the gate, then continue on your circuit in Venman. A beautiful longer track.

We walked around the Venman Circuit in two hours, instead of their signed time of four. Regardless, do be aware of your starting time, as the carpark gates are closed at 5.30pm. The tracks are pretty around the creek, lots of wallabies about the place. The rest of the landscape is pretty scrubby. Some brief but steep hills. Lots of cobwebs at head height, so it's worthwhile carrying a stick to clear the track ahead of you.

We started around 3:30 - no need for a hat - and it took around 90 minutes. Quite a few wallabies - plenty of spider webs across the trail at head height :-)

Excellent for spotting wallabies, however I personally find the trail pleasant but slightly samey. Well worth doing but I more frequently choose to walk next door in Daisy Hill/Neville Lawrie Reserve instead.

This was a lovely walk, we did it in just under 2 hours. We did this in reverse, was good getting started with the hills. Keep an eye out for the lovely moss covered trees, and take time to soak up the beauty. Was a fairly easy walk, would do it again!

Nice, open field in the middle is suprising. It could use better signage I wanted to do the Tingalpa circuit (1.5hr) because it was starting the get dark but ended up making a wrong turn and doing the Venman (4hrs). Anyway it was still good :-)

A good trail so close to the city and also connects to Daisy Hill coordinated bushland area.
