Dont let the shortness of the walk fool you. This is up and down a lot of stairs. On th day we visited it was 1' temp with an artic blow of 60+kmh out of the south west. This was not an easy walk and at times we could lean over into the wind and be held up. it felt like you were walking on the spot. A truely rugged and beautiful place that on a calm warmer day would be special but today it was one of the toughest little walks i have done for a while. Nice to be back in the warm of the car brrrrrr!!!!! A day after this walk they had snow in this area.

short stairs down to cave lookout viewpoint. Interesting, but definitely would not do unless already in the Port Arthur area or doing one of the longer hikes in the area.

Very remarkable cave. Short walk. We saw an echidna while descending the stairs and at the bottom we saw a dead seal probably it was carryed by the sea and trapped inside the cave it couldn't find the way out and died.

This is the second time we've been here. It's always a great sight. Great views along the coastline too from the carpark.
