| Not trying to set a record here, but I walked this circuit for some track training and completed it in 3hrs 10min. Admittedly I barely stopped (1x5min for food and a couple times to remove the 100s of leeches that started climbing my gaitors). Officially the track was closed, but advice from a walker who had just completed it was that fallen trees had blocked what was otherwise a well defined path in 3 locations. These trees were pretty easy to cross but i guess in the interest of safety for people from all types of experience it was waranted. Those wanting to walk to the pinacle, the start of this track is pretty easy to find, look approx halfway on the map where the tracks turns 270deg on itself. |
