Fabulous hike with diverse experiences from creeks to waterfalls, rubble to caves, rainforest to drier areas. Simply stunning. Relatively new (agsin) to bushwalking we took 6 hours which included multiple stops and a leisurely lunch and exploration around Meeting of the Creeks spot. We did the circuit in anti clockwise direction ie turned right at Canyon Lookout. We encountered several trees that had fallen across the path two of which presented a challenge to climb over. One about 1 km out from the meeting of creeks; the second one 2 km past meeting of the creeks. After lunch the relentless uphill walk was quite challenging and slowed us down considerably. Frequent stops to balance my beating heart meant this part took longer than anticipated. Allow additional time for this section when you are calculating your total time!!! Set out early if you are not fit. Overall an amazing achievement. Well done us!! |

Fabulous New Years Day walk with our dog. Grateful for my hiking boots. The gravel and rubble could have been a challenge for me. The breeze in the tunnel was beautifully refreshing on this hot and humid day. The Green star was very difficult to find. And YES we agree that it would be awesome if the track was extended beyond the tunnel. |
