Nicely maintained and clean path with a few stairs. Please note the loop that begins at the falls (halfway through the walk) is closed due to damage from the hurricane (see photo of sign posted here). Still a lovely out-and-back walk.

Very easy trail with no steep sections and is well signed and maintained. Several nice lookouts, but not as many attractions as some other nearby walks. We included the caves circuit at the end. The "caves" are more like overhanging cliff faces, which are still beautiful - but don't expect to go spelunking. We completed Lower BellBird with the caves circuit in about 3.5 hours at a moderate pace and a few breaks. |

Wonderful way to spend 4-5 hours. There are many streams and waterfalls to break up this longish walk. Footing can be a little tricky in some places, but never steep or treacherous. The "meeting of the waters" area is an excellent lunch stop. It is slightly mis-marked on the trail map, but it is clearly signed on the trail. I couldn't believe all the natural beauty on this trail. PS - You will get a few leeches dropping on you!

Started from O'Reilly's Retreat on Main Border Track. Beautiful waterfalls and streams. Went on Friday morning and saw almost no one else. Trail is well signed, and was damp and a little chilly. |
