Mount Edwards (Moogerah Peaks National Park) |

Note - I don't climb mountains regularly but wouldn't consider my fitness to be too bad. This was hard work! It's consistently steep and hard work on the knees (fair amount of irregular rock steps). My partner and I stopped regularly. Very rarely does it flatten out (mainly right near the summit). I would recommend bringing lunch up and sitting up the top soaking in the views. It's worth the climb but make sure you head up early so it's not too hot. We started at the dam at 0630. |

Note - I don't climb mountains regularly but wouldn't consider my fitness to be too bad. I found this to be a good walk up. Only near the top do you have to do a bit of rock scrambling. It was easy. The view from the top is stunning! Is the busiest mountain I've climbed so far. Only took our group of 3 about 30 minutes to get to the top and 20 minutes down. |
