If you are after an easy walk with absolutely rewarding views this is for you! Quite enjoyable and the flowers on the mountain are about to be in full bloom which adds to the panoramic views. We climbed early afternoon and it was beautiful. We made a little video of our adventure, view via the link below!

What an amazing rock climb. We arrived at the mountain thinking we were just go for an easy little bush walk but upon seeing people hanging off of the sheer rock face we realized we were in for something far from that. We ended up having to do it barefoot as our shoes just didn't provide good grip so would definitely recommended buying a pair of Dunlop Volleys to use. At risk of sounding blunt, do not attempt this walk without general fitness and some rock climbing skills, nor if you are afraid of heights.

Absolute ripper of a hike! The track was easy enough to follow however when you get into the predominantly rocky areas you do have to pay more attention to where you are going. Was a steep incline from the moment we got onto the track, took us about 2:30, return trip including a number of stops. This was just to the first lookout, we didn't venture any further to the second ridge.

We loved this walk. Got up early morning and was freezing cold but very worth it. Track was easy to navigate however there was a fair bit of debris over it after recent storms. Amazing views the whole way up. We made a little video about our adventure to Mt Mitchell, feel free to click the link below to give it a watch! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTaxUQ7yXl8
