This walk isn’t as spectacular as the other walks in the area but it does give nice views over Oirt Campbell. Note: The flies are shocking down here.

We’ve just completed this walk. We completed it over 5 days, though we didn’t do these days back to back. We took days off for a rest. We chose to use the local taxi company Timboon Taxis to pick us up each morning from the point where we wanted to finish our walk and drop us off at the start point. Then we just needed to walk back to where our car was parked. It worked really well. We also didn’t do the walk in order because if the tide times. We wanted to make it as sure as possible that we wouldn’t have problems with streams being too high to pass or beaches being covered in water. The walk was quite strenuous in parts. There is a really big hill after Johanna which was hard work. Also the sandy beaches here are quite soft and hard to walk on. Johanna Beach needs to be crossed and it is quite a long walk. Really exhausting. The other thing to note is that there are heaps of flies. We’ve been told that you can get a fly repellant. We didn’t have any but it would be a really good idea. They really spoil parts of the walk. Never the less this is a remarkable walk with amazing views over the coastline. Many of the inland parts are very nice as well with quite diverse landscapes. |

We visited the Twelve Apostles many years ago but it was nothing like this. The lookout is huge and the crowds are too. This really is one of Australia’s iconic sites and a great short walk.

Great walk. The loop is closed at the moment but you can still get to the falls. The first lookout is the best but there are two others.

The walk down the stairs was easier than expected but the sand is quite soft making walking hard work. Never the less Gog and Magog are very very impressive up close.

I thought this waterfall looked better than the pictures. It's a bit out of the way, but it's really nice and the walk is good too. Loved the pine trees.

Third awesome waterfall for the day. I found it tough walk back up, but it isn't that far, so not too bad really. If you're in the area, don't miss walking through the Californian Redwoods another 1.3km down Binns Road. While they're not that old they're still really impressive.

This is a fantastic walk. There were a couple of tour buses there when we arrived so it must be a really popular place. We would have loved to go at night, but it gets dark at the moment around 9:30pm so we decided that wasn't happening.

This waterfall very much reminded us of Buderim Falls in QLD without all the people. It was really hot today, so maybe that's why no-one else was there, but it is a really nice waterfall, and a nice track to get to it.

Tough walk today. We decided to do this walk to avoid the 36 degree heat today. But it was close to high tide and the wind was strong. So on the way there we walked against the wind in soft sand and walked back wading through water. Never the less it’s always a beautiful walk - particularly around dusk.

Nice easy walk but not flat. You walk down to the lookout and then you walk back up. Most of the walk is sealed though before you reach stairs and then the bridge. Great views.

Totally awesome walk. This is the second time we’ve walked this track and live it. Last time we did it clockwise starting at Wentworth Falls car park. This time we started at the same car park but headed towards the conservation hut along the shortcut track and then down into the valley from there. We thought this was a better option because the track up towards the conservation hut is very long and gruelling. The track up from the bottom of Wentworth falls is steeper but involves steps and ladders. It doesn’t take nearly as long. This track does take in part of the National Pass, but this part is open. The National Pass is incredible and this section of it definitely won’t disappoint.

Nice easy walk. It’s pretty flat. On another note I have to say that it’s really dry in the area. We’ve been up there many times and I’ve never seen so many trees with dead leaves. |
