| Just joined the forum - great stuff here. It is a decade or more since I last visited the O'Reilly's end of the Lamington NP. As a kid and through to young adulthood I spent a lot of time at Lamington; the Morans Falls & Castle Crag walks were always my favourite short walks. Unfortunately, I have only managed 2 or 3 visits in the last 25-odd years. I will be back in Australia at Christmas with my kids and am hoping to spend a day up there, so Moran's Falls will be an ideal family walk. Does anyone know if the walk to the bottom of the falls has been re-opened? I have no idea when (or why) it was closed but I was surprised to find it closed on a visit in the late 1990's. I hope it is open again, as the swimming hole at the bottom of the falls was fabulous. | ||||
