A lovely walk through beautiful rainforest next to a burbling stream. It was nice to visit a less trafficked portion of Lamington. The walk took me about 3 hours in total.

A short but quite steep climb with a small amount of scrambling. One can be rewarded with spectacular views.
The Steamers (Main Range National Park)	2 Aug, 2020	Hard	18km return 2 days
A huge challenge, but very rewarding. We parked on Old Mill Road, and made our way to the base of the prow, where were were able to follow the foot pad out to the stern. A few misadventures saw us take 4 hours from carpark to lookout, but with these lessons learned, I think we'd do it in 3 hours (one way) next time.
West Canungra Creek Circuit (Lamington National Park)	24 May, 2020	Hard	18km 6 hrs
Beautiful walk descending from O'Reillys into the valley and then back up again. A mixture of tropical rainforest with the odd section of eucalypt forest thrown in. Took my 5hrs 15mins which includes about 60 mins for breaks and photographs.
Warrie Circuit (Springbrook National Park)	2 Feb, 2020	Hard	17km return 5 hrs
First time on the Warrie Circuit this morning. As other have noted below, it's a beautiful walk through the rainforest with multiple running waterfalls and streams to admire. I parked at the Tallanbana car park, and the hike took 5 hours car to car, including 30 minutes break about half-way. A quick dip in the rockpool at the base of twin falls was the perfect way to cool off after 17km of summer rainforest bushwalking. Certainly a long walk, so take plenty of water.
Pinnacle Walk and Lookout (Border Ranges National Park)	4 Jan, 2020	Very Easy	800m return 30 mins
Very short walk through the rainforest to spectacular lookout. View to east looking out over Mt Warning. Perfect for sunrise. This article makes mention of a coin operated parking meter, but this must be a mistake because there is nothing of the sort up there.
Bare Rock track and Morgan's Walk (Main Range National Park)	8 Jul, 2018	Medium	13km 4.5 hrs
Spectacular views looking up the ridge line of Main Range National Park. If you're going to hike Mt. Cordeaux, you may as well spend the extra 90 mins (return) and visit Bald Rock.
Greenes Falls via Rainforest Circuit + Cypress Grove Circuit (D'Aguilar National Park)	5 May, 2018	Medium	4.3km return 2 hrs
A nice little well maintained track that leads to the top of a small waterfall. Spotted some wildlife on the way such as a Pademelon and a small mouselike marsupial. Perfect walk for my pregnant wife and two year old daughter.

A 2:45 am alarm followed by a 90 min drive to the carpark saw me kick off this hike at 4:30 am armed with a head torch, a liter of water and two musli bars. After a 90 minute hike startling rock wallabies and dodging spider webs, I was rewarded with a ripper sunrise at 6:01 rising over Moogerah Dam. Nary a leech in sight, and with a light breeze blowing, this was medicine for the soul.

Hiked this morning amongst the fog and clouds. Saw many native birds along the way, and despite not being rewarded with a view, saw an interesting phenomenon of the clouds hitting the peak and shooting nearly straight up vertically. I really enjoyed this short hike, and would like to come back again on a sunny day. I did feed the locals though, specifically the 5 or 6 leeches who made a mess of my feet and consequently my socks. Great hike!

My daughter and I really enjoyed our first time out at Mt. Cordeaux. We spotted many wild birds and even a big old goanna. We signed and well maintained track.
