I wouldn't say it was a walk, more like a hike up a mountain, and certainly requiring a good amount of effort! I found it a challenge but one I would do again. Burning thighs, and heavy breathing, the first part started off with an upward walk climb and it was tough, hot, and I nearly gave up right there! But I was persuaded to get to the first viewpoint, controlled my breathing and continued on and was so glad I did. Ended up going to the top. I went with a guide from Mount Barney lodge (Innes and Rachel and their son Conner) I would highly recommend it if you are not familiar with the Mountain. We saw the sunset and the Easter moon. It was worth it in the end. It took us from 230pm to 9pm to get up and back with dinner and coffee up the top included. |
