Had perfect weather for this walk and viewed the partial lunar eclipse from the track. The track is well marked. I found one steep section towards the top of the climb particularly challenging. The 360 degree views over Girraween National Park made the scary bits of the climb worth it. Good vantage points to see The Sphinx, Turtle Rock and The Pyramid. Two superb lyrebirds crossed our path which was exciting. Fires went through this area in February 2019. There is new growth appearing from the burnt forest.

We did this walk in the afternoon. The signage on the first part of the track is not well signed. It was an easy walk to Granite Arch on our way to The Pyramid.

We had perfect winter weather (dry and little wind) for our afternoon walk/scramble. This walk will get your heart pumping. The climb up the exposed granite is steep but the views are breathtaking. Good grip on your shoes really helps with the ascent and descent. My fear of heights kicked in towards the top and stopped me from reaching the summit. We had the track to ourselves until halfway down The Pyramid. There was lots of wildlife to be seen on the walk including red-necked wallabies and eastern grey kangaroos.

We did the Trachyte circuit to Jack Ferris lookout to watch the sun set. To get to the part of the track we wanted to start from, we drove through Matthew Flinders Park (off Steve Irwin Way) onto Evans Rd and then Berteaus Rd and followed the signs to the carpark. We spotted an echidna on our way back.

Great walk on a marked track. We parked the car at the Booloumba Creek Day Use Area. The creek had very little water. Went to the Strangler Cairn and returned via the Gold Mine on the way back. Spotted goannas and a snake along the track.

I have done this walk a few times over the past decade with family and friends. It's a steady steep climb and the track has changed over the years making it easier. It's a good cardio workout. It is also a popular walk so it can get busy. The views over the hinterland and to other mountains are great. Disappointing to see people have etched their names etc into the rocks on the summit.

A well marked track to walk with steps in sections for easy navigation. There are views on the way up and at the top. This track can get very busy with walkers and runners. |

I did this walk with a friend who had never done this climb before and was doing it for a challenge before she turned 50! It was a beautiful day and there were lots of butterflies at the summit. My friend's fear of heights kept her away from the edge at the summit.

We did this track with our 7 & 9 year old mid morning. We walked the track anti-clockwise from Mt Tibberoowuccum Car Park and went through recently cut down pine plantations. Went to Jack Ferris lookout and came back down to cross Tibrogargan Creek. The trail is pretty easy to follow but a few more track markers would make it easier. There are a few up hill areas and steps in some places. The track has a number of interpretive signs about the plants, animals and mountains in the area.

We did this walk on a Monday morning. It wasn't busy in the carpark, picnic area or track on this day. This walk had a gradual step descent and a steep step climb for the return. A good level of fitness will make the return walk pleasurable. We took our 7 & 9 year old. The waterfall was pretty and the views of the Range were good. The children had a dip in the rockpool after the walk.

This was an enjoyable climb with a 7 & 9 year old. There are plenty of photo opportunities on the way to the top including a cave. The views across the hinterland are great. |
