This is awesome!! Did Mt Nindery the day before and Mt Greville the day before that. but not sore. It was just under 35 minutes up from Carpark at good pace then 20 minutes back. Lots of Scrambling like Mt Warning. There is a chain in parts but it hurts to use it if you injured your "left" rotator cuff. There are lots of stairs too. A local couple in there 50/60s said they climb it once a week! Views are great. If you have average fitness I would allocate at least 90-120 mins. Need good grip shoes.

Short and sweet walk. View from eastern lookout is insanely good for the little invested time getting there. I would do this again for sunrise photography or if I'm passing by Coolum. Even pre gym cardio :)

Beautiful but cold! Water 2 metres deep in parts that you will need to go through. Definitely doing this again. Not sure if there will be leeches when it warms up. Lots of gramable spots! Bring sealable bags for phones etc... we parked at the hairpin bend and then walked across the road then over the guard rail then there is a well defined dirt path down to the bottom. Once you reach there travel upstream to find the gorges.

We got lost many times and it took 5.5hrs return. The lack of view at the top was anticlimactic surrounded by trees. There is NO! climbing on this walk only scrambling however, we mistakenly climbed up then back down two semi dangerous wrong paths. Despite all of this it's still one of my favorites!! We started from waterfall gorge (we climbed up a narrow mini gorge like path on the right hand side inside waterfall gorge don't do this! Instead keep left.) The view at the top of waterfall gorge after a hundred metres or so was priceless and very grammable! From there to summit you will need to follow the cliff in a clockwise direction if you follow the path anti-clockwise you will need climbing gear. We came back via palm gorge which is also magnificent. We had heaps of water and food. |

I found the first part of this walk to be dry and unpleasant the scrambling was fun as usual even though it was 35km winds! The ugly weather station and chopper pad at the top was a turn off. Hard on the knees coming back. It took 1hr 40min up and 1hr 20min down I'm not in a hurry to do this again although I'm glad that I experienced it at least once. |

Loved this one! Did Mt Mitchell the day before so a tiny bit tired. But had some bananas which was good fuel. It was about 4hrs return with some nice scrambling. You will need reasonable fitness for this and good grip shoes. There were two of us and we took just under 2 litres of water which was just enough. View was amazing and will definitely do this again! Mt Greville had no view but was incredible and Mt Cooroora was awesome too! My favourite 3 so far. They put out orange arrow markers the same day.

Walking no scrambling. Saw a lyrebird, stinging gympie. Get there before 10am if you want a park. Found to be a much nicer journey than Mt Mitchell across the road. Barerock is nice while Morgans walk was short but average.
