Looking dry but nice views on the walk and at the lookout. Saw eagles cruising the thermals. Watch out for ticks - we found a couple on us when we returned to the campsite.

A nice walk, nothing too strenuous except some stairs that get the heart going. Interesting to see the mountain from different angles.

Stayed at O'Reilly's and got a transfer over to Binna Burra to start the walk. Weather wasn't on our side though - it rained the whole time and cloud obscured every view :( The track was very muddy and slippery and I ended up damaging my knee. I think that because my boots had ankle protection I couldn't flex there so my knee ended up taking the twist if I slipped in the mud. The ligaments took a while to mend and subsequent hikes would see me limping on that leg. I now use hiking poles and lower rise trail runners, and with leg strengthening exercises I now have no problems with it :) Back to the track: enjoyed the lush rainforest and must be a great walk in fine weather when you can see the coastal views. Allow plenty of time, and pack a headtorch just incase - we came back in the dark.

Amazing views and landscape. Got out to Castle Crag, steep cliff sides though - I wouldn't do it with kids.
