Super easy 5min walk through some rainforest to the summit clearing. No view just the relay tower and plaque. Very easy to miss the entrance since it's overgrown at the moment and only space for a couple cars. | ||||

This was my first hike and it was worth it for the view but oh boy was it exhausting. I went with a mate who had some limited bushwalking experience but both of us were pretty new to it. Regardless, both of us had no trouble on the way up, never lost the trail and I only really started to tire near the top. There was a fair bit of scrambling and a tiny bit of climbing with a couple small rope sections but nothing too difficult. On the way down I got very exhausted, ran out of water despite packing 4L and we lost the trail and had to backtrack about 4 times which didn't help things. Timeframe: Started at 0740 from Yellowpinch carpark Summit at 1150 - 1220 (had lunch) Finished at carpark 1630 Would recommend ascend SE ridge but come down S ridge (apparently it's easier). Also bring plenty of water! |
