Completed this walk in winter 2011. Beware, you need to start this walk well before noon depending on your group size and ability. Fabulous walk covering over 7 waterfalls. This is a long walk so suggest families allow 6 hours to complete. It is an easy hike for adults but children under 10 could find it hard to complete. Plenty of rest area's on the way, the best being the rock pool at the 'Meeting of the waters' checkpoint. From the top it's all down hill until you get to this point and then you start making your way up either side of the plateau again. The trail is clearly defined and some sign posts are provided at key checkpoints. Some parts of the trail are subject to water logging at different times of the year especially in the wet season (Sept-March). There are also some great views on southern side of the plateau as you make your way up the trail. In the summer and Spring time - take your boardies for a swim in the waterholes. Twin Falls is also a great place to stop and cool off under the waterfall and great for kids. Take plenty of water for the trip. Your trip can be done either clockwise or anti clockwise.
