| I just did this hike the other day via the town of Ballandean and along Sundown Road. There are two ways of getting to the Red Rock lookout because there are two 4WD tracks. If you park your car at the end of the Sundown road in the national park and walk up along the main 4WD for track for about 300 meters you will get to a sign and a fork in the road. To your left is a the main heavily used 4WD track to the right is a old 4WD track (which is undriveable). The track to your left is 14 klm both ways to gorge. The track to the right is 12 klm to the gorge both ways. Insure you look out for all the signs to the gorge as there a number of 4WD tracks. Also there are a number of "side tracks" that at times lead to "fire brakes and or the QLD / NSW border". Overall the main 4WD track to the left and the track to your right are both easy to follow | ||||
