I found this climb much more challenging than Mt Tibrogargan as it is much longer. The hike starts with a short and easy trek through bush land, after that the rock scrambling begins. The initial rock face starts out very steep but inclines more on an angle as you ascend up. About halfway up are some interesting rock formations and bat caves to check out. Some bushbashing required in overgrown sections of the track but the rest of the ascent is more of hike up than a rock scramble. 360 degree views of all the glasshouse mountains at the top make the hike up well worthwhile. Took us 4 hours in total but we took it slowly, spent a lot of time at the top and exploring through caves.

Done this walk/climb 5 times over the last 3 years or so - one of my favourites.

A boring flat dirt road track for the most part. Things pick up when you start to approach white rock, climbing the rock face is worthwhile to see a 360 degree view of surroundings.
