Bit of a rainy day, but the dense trees provided shelter. Our 3 year old walked the whole way, took us about 45 min with short breaks to take in the views. A short and beautiful walk. Lots of water going over the falls and we saw some pademelons along the track and little bats flying about the cave. It's too bright during the day to see any glow worms

We walked this track with 3 toddlers. It's a very suitable walk for little ones as the track is quite smooth, part of it is boardwalk and it's not very steep. We took 3 hours with a lunch stop at the Falls...which was more of a trickle since there hasn't been much rain. Saw some pademelons and robins and the rainforest is beautiful as always

Such a beautiful place. We had a 3 year old with us in a carrier and some assisted scrambling so we're a bit slower. Took us about 4 hours. Need to focus on your footing a lot as it's pretty much all rock walking, particularly after the turn off up Love Creek.

This is one of the prettiest walks we've done so far in Qld. We took about 5 hours with a 2.5 year old who walked way more than he had before (probably almost half). There were definitely sections I wouldn't be comfortable with a toddler walking, some narrow tracks alongside steep drop-offs. Carrying him back up the hill was tough going, we rewarded ourselves with a happy hour drink and live music at the bar across the road from the track entrance. The walk is very shady and with lots of access to water to cool off so would be nice in summer too. |
