| You will need to park at West Gap parking lot because of the road construction. According to the park service, it adds 5 km total to the hike to Mt Cordeaux. Lots of big Box trees on this “extra” hike along Box Track, but admittedly there is a lot of road noise. Still a great hike though! | ||||

| Turned around at the end of Granite Bay, rather than hike the detour due to construction. Other hikers hiked the inland detour, and saw/took a photo of an enormous carpet python up in the tree! Great trail! | ||||
