| Lots of leeches if the trails are at wet, except in the middle sections. Very pleasant rainforest walk for half of the walk with lots of bird life and half is a path near the edge of the mountain top with good views, though not as spectacular as other hikes. It is an easy track without very steep sections. | ||||

| You need to be comfortable in your abilities to walk up steep polished rock using hand holds. Basic rock climbing skills are quite helpful and I would exercise caution in taking people without much hiking or climbing experience up the mountain. The path up is straight forward with a few bottle necks like at the base, otherwise, it is quite a good hike. I personally felt it was tougher than Tibrogargan, and I say this only to caution people that they are aware of what kind of terrain to expect. There were a fair number of hikers that had come out and only made it up 50m of the base of the steep section because it was out of their ability or they were not prepared for the hike because they did not know what to expect. It was a spectacular hike and one of my favourites in queensland. We climbed as a group of 5 with three experienced climbers and two intermediate climbers and it took three hours to compete with breaks. | ||||
