Break up your hiking adventure with an easy stroll to Silverband Falls in the Wonderland Range. Follow the fern-laden trail and keep an eye out for the colourful birdlife, from the cheeky yellow robin to majestic Wedge-tailed Eagles circling above.
Just south of Halls Gap on Grampians Road turn right onto Silverband Road opposite the Lake Bellfield picnic area. Continue till you see the fall’s car park signposted on your right.
You can also take Mt Victoria Road (C222) just north of Halls Gap for 7km and then left down Silverband Road to the fall’s car park on your left.
Note that if you access from the Lake Bellfield end of Silverband Road, you cannot continue onwards beyond the fall’s car park as it is one way only.
From the car park follow the track out to the waterfall and plunge pool.
Return by the same route.
None.
The Grampians are a haven for bushwalkers from short strolls to multiday adventures. From Very Easy to Hard. You could spend a couple of weeks here and still not complete them all.
There are a number of Bush Camps in the area, but most people would stay at one of the numerous accommodations in Halls Gap.
