Route/Trail notes

Start at Rotary Park (located at the south end of Margaret River Town, near the old steam train).

The return track is optional, as vehcle access is availible (half way) at Ten Mile brook Dam.

The 15 kilometre return trail is a combination of compacted earth and coarse gravel.

A bridge over the weir allows safer access across when the river is in full flow. When you arrive at the bridge you can return to the picnic ground along this path if you choose.

The rest of this trail follows the meandering river with some wonderfull views and scenery along the way.

Permits/Costs

Free. $0.

Comments

Great walk, no real climbs or long vista views but some nice shady sections with a real "middle kingdom" feeling.
