A secret hike out the back of Ena-kyo service area. Nothing of particular note. Just some trees.
You can only access this hike via driving. It is possible to drive to the Ena-kyo service area via the high way, park in the carpark and then exit the area on foot near the Starbucks. You can also use regular roads and park in the free carpark out the back of the Starbucks. From the carpark, walk up the road (not down the hill). On the side of the road you will a wall with trees. There will be a small road with a metal bar at the end of it jutting out from the main road. Walk up this and you will find the entrance to the hike.
There is not a single map that covers this hike.
In the forest you will see a clearly defined path in the trees. In sections where it isn't clear, there are small markers, triangulation points and pink ribbons to guide the way. The hike is flat and just takes you through the forest where you might see some wild life. The end point is marked by a triangulation marker that reads 正家. It is not possible to go further than this as it is a straight drop off to a road. Go back the same way.
