There are also main roads to cross - King Street, Smiths Street, and Henzell Road. The grade is gradual ascent from Caboolture to Wamuran.

This is a well made walking track, 2m wide bitumen. There are a few picturesque rural scenes a bit off the track. But that's it really. The truck and traffic noise right next to the track is bewildering. If you live locally I could see this as a track to get in your walking exercise. But we travelled from Samford to try it, and it is not worthwhile travelling any distance to get to. It is not a BVRT. CJs Bakery at Wamuran is good for a pie and a drink. Sit on the back deck and look out to Mt Mee.

This was my first training hike for the JLF Trek in May. I walked the trail one way from Caboolture to Wamuran in about 2 hours. The first half of he trail is through residential areas, passing 3 schools and is very much just a really good pathway. The remainder of the path closely follows the road to Wamuran. There is little shade on this walk.
The trail is uphill toward Wamuran but that is overstating it. As you would expect it is actually quite flat. It does pass behind a wood mill and there are a few interpretive signs but unfortunately there is not much else to see. It does however have good seating areas, water half way and 3 bike servicing stations. Something I have not seen before.

This is not a particularly picturesque walk. First few kms are in residential Caboolture and you hen follow the highway to Wamuran but it is a nice distance if you want to get some kms under your belt and is flat the whole way.

This was a nice easy walk although it was mostly in the open with only some patches of shade mostly on the Wamuran end. We wouldn't recommend it for summer. The first 3.5km was fairly residential. Never the less being able to get a bite to eat at Wamuran was a nice break before the walk back.
